 : Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced for several forums that his government would make every effort to get the religious identity of Kumbha being held in Allahabad. Government has started the exercise of making state-of-the-art Kumbh museum in Sangam Nagar Allahabad.

Officials claim that this museum will be of the size of the urn and its cost is likely to be around 300 crores.

According to sources, the proposal of the museum has been prepared and sent to the Union Culture Ministry.


According to officials, the height of the proposed museum at Naini's Aral region in Allahabad would be 100 feet. This will require five acres of land. Two acres of land will be for the museum and three acres of land will be kept vacant. 

According to sources, the museum has received a green signal from the Chief Secretary and Tourism Minister of the state. Only after the instruction of the department, a proposal has been sent to the Union Culture Ministry.

Regional Tourism Officer Anupam Shrivastava said that the construction of the museum will begin once the budget is met. Try to get started before the Aquarius that it will be started before Aquarius.

According to sources, the department has no land, so the plot will be purchased from Allahabad Authority. It is estimated to cost about 300 crore rupees.

According to the sources of the tourism department, the proposed museum will also have a grand lighting system on the building of a kalash complex. There will be history and other details of Allahabad on one floor, while on the second floor there will be wax sculptures of great figures. There will be a big conference hall on the third floor.


It is worth mentioning that hundreds of thousands of devotees will be here in Kumbha in the year 2019. It also expects more than 10 lakh foreign devotees to reach. Keeping this in mind, the administration is also making arrangements for making five thousand Swiss cottages with state-of-the-art facilities.

On this occasion, there is a plan to visit the tourists from Allahabad to the pilgrims visiting the heliport. For this a helipad will be built on the Yamuna coast. For this, a budget of Rs.25 crores has been received from the department.
