New Delhi: The most significant thing that has come out of the UP body elections is that AAP's Aamim and Arvind Kejriwal's party AAP are strengthening their roots in UP. Though the candidates of both the parties have not won the mayor's post, they have done well in other positions. Although AIMIM is seen much ahead from the Aam Aadmi Party.

In this election, AIMIM's AIMIM party has captured 12 seats of councilor, 7 seats of municipal council, one seat of Nagar Panchayat president and 6 seats of Nagar Panchayat member. This victory of Owaisi says a lot. In the UP assembly elections, the party got 0.02 percent i.e. 205232 votes. Prior to that, the party had won 2 seats in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Now it is clear that AIMIM is slowly catching up in the perfect UP. AIMIM can prove to be a major threat for the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.

Aam Aadmi Party has won 3 posts of councilor, 17 posts of municipal member, 2 posts of Nagar Panchayat president and 19 posts of Nagar Panchayat member. This victory of Aam Aadmi Party is also very important. In UP, the party is preparing its own organization. Definitely this victory will boost the party's spirits and help in strengthening the organization. In western Uttar Pradesh, the party is fast spreading and the body is also on number two in each of the elections. Party sources say that the preparations are in 2019 and the party will continue to expand throughout the country.
