UP body elections: Keshav Prasad defeats BJP's defeat in Kaushambi, the stronghold of Maurya
Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's home district Kaushambi had to face defeat in the BJP.
New Delhi: The results of Uttar Pradesh body elections have come. BJP has won tremendous victory. Now 14 out of 16 Mayor will be of BJP while 2 Mayors will belong to the BSP. The Samajwadi Party and the Congress have suffered a setback. BSP won in Meerut and Aligarh, while BJP has won all others.
Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's home district Kaushambi had to face defeat in the BJP. Even in the ward where Keshav's house falls, there is a defeat of the BJP.

However, in a special conversation with ABP News, UP Government spokesman Siddharthnath Singh said that the BJP wave has continued since the year 2014 in the country. He has said that this election will be auspicious sign for the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
