New Delhi : Following the BJP's bumper victory in Uttar Pradesh elections, the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party have re-erected EVMs again. BSP Supremo Mayawati has said that elections will be held in 2019 from the ballot paper. At the same time, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has claimed that while EVM was used, BJP won 46% and where the ballot paper was voted, BJP got only 15% seats.

In 2012, BJP won only 35 seats in the election of 388 Nangar Panchayat Chair by ballot polling. That is, only nine percent. But after five years in the ballot paper voting, BJP managed to win 100 seats in 438 seats. The percentage of victory was 22 percent, i.e. 13 percent more than the last time. That is, in the ballot paper voting, BJP has increased its victory percentage. 

Likewise, in May 2012, Mayor's election took place in 12 cities, in which BJP won 10 and this time in 16 it became 14 Mayor. That is, 83 per cent of the Mayor was made for the BJP last time and this time it was 87 per cent. Voting transfers from ballot to EVMs has increased even then BJP's victory percentage has increased. In the year 186, 41 municipal councils won the presidential seats. Last time, 22 per cent of seats were won by BJP and this time, in 198, 70 seats or 35 per cent seats were received by the BJP.
